DESHAFO INTEGRATED SCHOOL is a private ECD and primary day school situated in Oturbam Village, Homa Bay County, Kenya. The school is located 2km from Kabunde Airstrip, near St. Lawrence Hospital, and is 50 meters off the main Homabay-Rodi road. Established in 2020, just after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the school began as a humble Early Childhood Development (ECD) center with only five children in day-care. As part of DESHAFO Integrated CBO's first educational initiative, the school has since gradually expanded, though it remains in its early stages of development.

Over time, local parents and community members entrusted the school with their children, enabling it to add new classes. However, Deshafo Integrated School is still growing and lacks many of the resources and infrastructure necessary to support a full-fledged primary education. At present, the school offers four classes and relies on minimal facilities, working hard to create a conducive learning environment for its young learners.

The school has made some progress, including the construction of basic latrines and a small play area. However, it remains in dire need of further development, including proper classrooms, feeding areas, and play equipment. The school is seeking support to continue improving its facilities and to provide quality education to the children of Oturbam Village and the surrounding community. The vision is to grow into a fully functional school that can adequately serve the needs of its students, but it requires external support to make this a reality.
