Welcome to DESHAFO (Destiny Shapers Foundation), an organization dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of children and youth. Through our weekly counseling programs, we guide individuals from their early stages of development to becoming confident adults. Our aim is to help them appreciate their journey and empower them to make and stand by their decisions within their communities and personal lives.

At DESHAFO, we firmly believe that serving humanity is a divine calling. We uphold the principle that: Disability does not equate to Inability and that: Every person possesses an Inherent Potential for Greatness. Our mission is to cultivate this potential at every interaction, ensuring that each individual can realize and harness their unique strengths and capabilities.

As we engage with the community, our approach is multifaceted. In situations where there is stagnation, we provide arbitration to resolve conflicts and guide individuals toward solutions. Where resources are lacking, we offer direction and support to access necessary provisions. Moreover, we maintain a strong commitment to spiritual guidance, anchoring our efforts in divine principles and seeking direction from God to inform and inspire our work.

Greetings from Destiny Shapers Foundation (DESHAFO), where our commitment to improving lives through education and advocacy is at the core of our mission. As the Coordinator of the Homabay County Education Network, a Registered Human Rights Defender, and the National Chairman of the Gender Sector Working Group under the Elimu Yetu Coalition, my role is to ensure that every individual, especially the most vulnerable, has access to quality education and equal opportunities.

At DESHAFO, we aim to address educational disparities in underserved communities by empowering children, families, and entire neighborhoods. Our foundation works in collaboration with local partners and stakeholders to create sustainable educational programs that drive long-lasting change. As a human rights defender, I’m committed to protecting the rights of marginalized groups, particularly when it comes to access to education and gender equity.
